Community Development Through Polytechnics (CDTP)
Rural development has become a matter of urgent concern to most developing countries, especially India for consideration of social justice, national integration, economic necessity and employment opportunity. Nearly 60% of our population live in rural areas and constitute the weaker section of society without development. The present flow of population from rural to urban areas has to be arrested. A stage has therefore been reached where we have to give a serious consideration to the utilization of the resources and manpower available in rural areas.
